We trained a group of young creatives to work backstage at Paris Fashion Week this spring. Three of them bagged jobs with our PR partners. The same partners then opened up 40+ internship positions. Naturally, we stepped in to help build their internal team.

But building a team? It’s not just about filling slots. We needed each person to be an Oceans 8-style genius. Someone with speed and substance. That takes having a wide network of geniuses in your resource well.

• Who understands founders’ personalities, are they calm collaborators or high-energy executors?

• What kind of personality does this founder need around them? If a founder needs a calm, self-led team — or a sharp, high-involvement one.

• Who values soft skills as much as technical ones. What soft skills will align with this brand’s long-term vision?
